We are former Elite Athletes with experience competing at the Collegiate and Pro Level. Our mission at Athlete Training Ground is to provide all our athletes with elite training. We pride ourselves on teaching the fundamentals, proper techniques and developing our athletes both mentally and physically. With every athlete, we train the body through strength and conditioning and the mind through cognitive training, film study and life skills programs. We are dedicated to share our vast experience so that every athlete, young and old, have the opportunity to reach her/his full potential. We are REAL ATHLETES training ATHLETES.

I’ve played competitive sports since I was a child. My first sport of choice was baseball, I played from the age of 7 to 23 and won numerous championships during my career. I was fortunate to play in the little league world series and get drafted in the major league baseball draft twice. Once out of high school and again out of university and received many full scholarships offers. Ultimately, I accepted a full scholarship to the University of Michigan to play both football and baseball. During my amateur football career, I was ranked the #1 running back in the state of Michigan, ranked the #2 running back in the US and received the Big Ten conference best two sport athlete award. During my professional football career, I played 10 years of professional football and won a Grey Cup Championship with the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian football league.
My training career began while I was playing professional football with the Toronto Argonauts. My love for sports and fitness motivated me to become a personal trainer. Initially, I would volunteer my time as a trainer to assist with the many camps that the Argonauts held. In 2009, I started my own training sessions by offering adult boot camp classes and sports specific training. The sessions ranged from teaching in group settings to teaching individuals as a personal trainer and fitness specialist. I love helping my clients progress in their fitness or sport and reaching their goals. I have coached and trained basketball, baseball, football, flag football, soccer, hockey, volleyball, martial arts, figure skating and rugby athletes for over 10 years. My goal is to help others live a healthy lifestyle and reach their goals by sharing my life experiences and knowledge through sport and fitness.
